Justin Bieber throws up on stage

Should you stay home when you are sick or should you still go to work and school? That is a good question to ask Justin Bieber because at the end of September he was at a concert in Arizona and he threw up and continued his performance. Giant eyball found on a beach

What if you were walking on the beach and all of a sudden there was a giant eyball starring at you? On Wednesday there was a giant eyeball found by a beachcomber in Pompano Beach, Florida. The softball sized eyeball was reported to the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission and will be preserved and sent to the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida for analysis.

Meningitis Outbreak

There are 16 deaths and 185 people are sick due to tainted steroid shots for back pain. This rare fungal meningitis affects people who's needs can't be met from off the shelf drugs. The CDC and Food and Drug Administration are working on confirming the source of the contamination which is traced to three lots of steroid injections made at a Framingham, Massachusetts pharmacy. All of the drugs made at the pharmacy, the New England Compounding Center, have been recalled.

Neil Armstrong Dies



     Neil Armstrong died Saturday. It was weeks after a heart surgery and only days after his 82nd birthday. He was the first man to walk on the Moon. Armstrong commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft, and landed it on the moon on July 20, 1969. He radioed back to Earth "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. Him and his fellow astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin spent close to three hours walking on the Moon.

Kings Win Stanley Cup

On Monday night the LA Kings won their first Stanley Cup. They beat the New Jersey Devils 6-1 in game six. New Jersey was given many penalties and they gave Los Angeles a tremendous advantage. They are now celebrating their triumph with parades and parties.

Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Today, 1,000 boats, one of which carrying her majesty, created a flotilla along the river Thames. Over a million people watched the spectacle this morning. The Queen is celebrating her 60 year reign over the people of England. Gusts, winds, clouds, and torrential rain did not stop hundreds of thousands of people lining up along the shore. Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge were also on the flotilla.

Toronto Shooting

On Saturday night, a gunman opened fire in the food court of the Eaton Center, the largest shopping mall in downtown Toronto. A 25 year old man is dead and police say he was the targeted victim. Seven people are injured. A 13 year old boy is in critical condition from a gunshot wound. A pregnant woman went into labor after being knocked down in a stampede of frantic people. The food court was apparently very crowded. Police say that this might be the result of gang violence.
